isDigit()
Description
Check if a character is a digit (that is a number) or not. Returns true if the character is a number.
Syntax
isDigit(thisChar)
Parameter Values
- thisChar: variable. Allowed data types: char.
Return Values
- true: If thisChar is a number.
- false: Otherwise
Example Code
if (isDigit(myChar)) { // tests if myChar is a digit
Serial.println("The character is a number");
}
else {

}
